Rhino Health is collaborating with Dr. German Corredor Prada of Emory University, Assuta Medical Center, and Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center to develop an advanced breast cancer detection algorithm using federated learning. This approach allows for the creation of robust, personalized prognostic models without the need to transfer patient data, thereby maximizing privacy. The project also aims to standardize data formats across institutions and ensure data quality, addressing common challenges in implementing federated learning in healthcare. Additionally, the digital pathology slides used in training will be made available as Federated Datasets™ on Rhino Health’s platform, facilitating future collaborations and multi-modal AI development.
