Rhino Health has partnered with over 20 international institutions in the NetZeroAICT consortium, co-funded by Horizon Europe and UK Research Innovation (UKRI), to develop AI-powered digital contrast technology for CT imaging. This initiative seeks to minimize the use of contrast media and single-use consumables, thereby reducing the environmental footprint of CT scans, which currently average a 9kg carbon footprint per scan. By leveraging its federated computing platform, Rhino Health will facilitate the training of AI models across diverse datasets from more than 10 hospital groups worldwide, promoting safer, faster, and more sustainable healthcare delivery in alignment with the European Green Deal.
