Rhino Federated Computing was founded following EXAM, a landmark global study led by Dr. Ittai Dayan and published in Nature Medicine, which demonstrated the power of Federated Learning to train and test Artificial Intelligence models across data from 20 institutions around the world—without centralizing sensitive data.

Headquartered in Boston, with an R&D center in Tel Aviv.

Building on that proof point, Rhino was created to turn Federated Computing into enterprise-grade software infrastructure: a secure, scalable platform that enables organizations to run AI, analytics, and data workflows across distributed data environments while preserving privacy, security, governance, and control.

Since launching in 2021, Rhino has been a driving force in defining the category of Federated Computing. The company began by deploying its platform across leading academic medical centers to demonstrate how high-value data could be activated without being moved.
